4LinePoetry

Alright, here’s a collection of all the 4-line poems that I write for Poetry Awesomeness (http://4linesofpoetry.blogspot.in/)

Bag

If only,

I could just pack everything up in my little blue bag,

Despite being scrag, I would all the way drag,

My joys and my toys, my family and my friends,

And carry them all where the rainbow bends.

Sky

Lustrous and enriching, she saw the glorious sky.

Tempted, she spread her wings and decided to fly.

She soared higher, until she could fly no more

Her destiny was enchained and she fell to the floor.

Beaches

Lying on the beach,

Bathing in the sun

I think of you and

How cold you’ve become.

Terrace

They sought me but I shunned the world

In a lonesome corner I quietly curled

Toyed with the tiny world at an altitude

And before I knew it, I surrendered to solitude.

Soul

Days are spent with thoughts so whorled

Tears don’t stop and the realities whack

My soul travels into the virtual world

Every night, while my body stays back.

Sweater

His slender body shivered in cold

Throughout the lonesome night

The sun shone bright and enveloped him

With all his sultry might.

Memories

Ne seen nay heard nor felt her touch

Never slept in her lap in that lonesome hutch.

Never really lost her, nor ever gained

Just flashes in white, unexplained.

Lips

You didn’t promise me anything

I know I assumed

And you just walked away, left me mum

Lips seek for words but find none.

Attire

And there I see you walking towards me

Clad in innocence and honor

Oh look! There goes the veil you had on

And epitome of shameless pride revealed.

Rose

From the deprived and the elite, He did pick

Amidst all the hurdles, their love arose.

Epitome of eternal love on that wondrous ship

Two peas in a pod, Jack and Rose.
